What this tool does

This tool adds a signature or stamp to PDFs such as contracts, applications and consent forms. Draw your signature with a mouse or finger, upload a signature or stamp image, or type a name or date, then place it wherever you need on any page. You can add several, and even put the same signature in the same spot on every page at once. Everything happens inside your browser.

How to use

  1. Add the PDF you need to sign.
  2. Draw a signature, upload a signature or stamp image, or type a name or date, then click 'Add to page'.
  3. Drag it into place, resize with the corner dot, and save.

FAQ

Can I sign on my phone?

Yes. Draw in the signature box with your finger, and drag signatures on the page with your finger too.

What about the white background in my stamp photo?

Keep 'Make white transparent' on and near-white areas become transparent, so only the ink shows. PNGs that are already transparent are used as they are.

Is a signature added this way legally binding?

This tool only places an image of your signature on the PDF. It does not add a certificate-based digital signature. If validity matters, check with the recipient that this kind of signature is acceptable.

Is the text I add searchable?

No. Text is turned into an image instead of embedding a font, so the names and dates you add can't be selected or searched. The original text in the PDF is unchanged.
