Add a Watermark
Text or logo on photos and PDFs — many files at once.
🔒 Files never leave your deviceWhat this tool does
This tool adds a text or logo watermark to images and PDFs. Use it to brand product photos, mark ID or bank-statement copies as 'for submission only', or stamp a logo on course PDFs. Adjust size, color, opacity and angle, place it in one of 9 spots or repeat it as a tiled pattern. The same settings apply to every file at once, and nothing is uploaded.
How to use
- Add the images or PDFs you want to watermark — many at once is fine.
- Choose text or logo, then set size, color, opacity, angle and position. The preview updates instantly.
- Click 'Watermark & download'. Multiple files come as one ZIP.
FAQ
How do I mark an ID copy as 'for submission only'?
Type something like 'For XYZ Bank only' and choose 'Tile' as the position. The text repeats across the whole image, which helps prevent misuse.
Does it work with PDFs?
Yes. Every page gets the same watermark, and the original text stays selectable and searchable.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser, so it's safe for sensitive documents.
My images are different sizes. How big will the watermark be?
The watermark is sized relative to each image's shorter side, so it looks proportionally the same on large and small images.
Tips
- To discourage misuse of document copies, use 'Tile' with about 30–50% opacity — still readable, but hard to crop out.
- Use a PNG logo with a transparent background. A logo on a white background will stamp a white box too.
- JPG photos are saved as JPG at 92% quality; PNG and WEBP keep their format. For PDFs, the watermark is placed on every page as an image and the original text stays intact.
