What this tool does

This tool turns a photo taken at home into an ID photo for résumés, certificates or visa paperwork. Pick a size — Korean résumé size (3×4 cm), Korean passport (3.5×4.5 cm), 5×7 cm or US visa (2×2 in) — and the crop frame locks to that ratio, then saves a JPG at the 300 dpi pixel size. AI can remove the background and replace it with white, light blue, light gray or any color, or you can keep the original. You can also make a print sheet with several copies on one 4×6 inch (about 10×15 cm) print.

How to use

  1. Upload a photo of your face looking straight at the camera.
  2. Pick a size (résumé, passport, …) and a background color. AI removes the background automatically.
  3. Drag and zoom the photo so your face fits inside the dotted oval.
  4. Save a single ID photo (JPG) or a 4×6 print sheet.

FAQ

Can I use this for my passport application?

We can't guarantee it. Many authorities reject edited photos — Korea's passport office says it won't accept photos whose background was removed with editing software, and the US State Department asks you not to alter photos with software or AI. If you shot against a white wall, choose 'Keep original background' and only crop. Always check the official requirements first.

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Everything, including background removal, runs inside your browser.

How do I print it?

Save the 4×6 print sheet and order a 4×6 inch (4R, about 10×15 cm) print at a photo lab or app. The sheet is laid out at 300 dpi so photos come out at their real size. Cut along the gray lines.

How many photos fit on the print sheet?

9 résumé-size (3×4 cm) photos, 8 passport-size photos, 2 US visa photos or 2 photos at 5×7 cm.
